The same standard on every trade
We hold one bar for good work across about twenty trades. The trade changes. The standard does not.
▸ The spine
Usually you pick one or the other. Either deep trade skill, or one contractor who answers for the whole job. The way King Tides is set up lets you have both.
Each trade is run by a specialist, and one contractor stays responsible from the first walk-through to the warranty.
▸ The structure
It started the way good work usually does, one trade at a time. A painter who actually showed up. A flooring crew whose seams you couldn’t find. Partners we kept calling because the work was solid and the people stood behind it.
Over time, the best of those partners came to work with us only. We didn’t fold them into one big crew. They stayed specialists, doing only the trade they do best. But now they all hold to the same bar and run a job the same way. You get a real scope, a schedule we keep, and a clean site. At the end you get a closeout you can hold us to.
Today that’s a family of about twenty trade companies with one spine running through all of them. Most have their own website. The rest are reached through King Tides. The owner of the family holds the standard and puts one name on the line for the whole house.
Need a single trade? Most companies have their own website and can take it directly, and the rest come straight through us. Planning a job that touches several trades? Keep it as one King Tides consultation. One project owner runs the crews, so you never end up acting as the general contractor by accident.
▸ The standard
These run through every job. They stay the same when the trade changes. That's what makes the family a family.

Each trade is run by people who do only that trade. You get real depth where it counts, not a jack-of-all-trades.
Each trade crew came to work under one contractor and one standard. They are still here because the work holds up.
We're rooted in Bellingham, with one name behind every job. You always know who's responsible.
You get a clear scope, a schedule we keep, and a proper closeout. That level of organization is rarer in the trades than it should be.
You are not lining up five companies or refereeing between trades. Tell us what you are planning, and we line up the right crews and run the schedule.
Tell us what you're planning. We'll send it to the right specialist, or put several crews under one project owner who answers for the job.
