Kitchen, bath & whole-home

Remodeling

Kitchens, baths, and whole-home remodels in older Bellingham homes. We plan for the moisture and the hidden structural problems up front, so they don't surprise you mid-job.

Homeowners in Fairhaven, Columbia, Sehome, and the county who want good work and a contractor who calls them back.

Every remodeling project runs through one contractor. You get a clear plan before the work starts, and a crew that knows each trade. One name stays responsible from the first walk-through to the final inspection.

We plan for the moisture, the permits, and the older-home surprises up front. That way the job keeps its schedule and its quality instead of drifting once it’s started.

  Questions

Common questions

The things owners ask most before they start. Anything specific to your project, we cover at the consultation.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. King Tides Construction is a brand of Apex Builderz LLC, a licensed, bonded, and insured Washington general contractor (Reg. #APEXBBL749B1, UBI 604-945-342). You can check our registration yourself with WA Labor & Industries.
What areas do you serve?
Bellingham and Whatcom County, including Ferndale, Lynden, Blaine, Everson, and Sumas. We also work with BC homeowners who are building or remodeling here in Whatcom County.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. Whatcom County has two permit offices: the City of Bellingham Permit Center and Whatcom County Building Services. We work with the right one for your project so you don't have to.
How do you price a project?
We give you a clear scope and an honest range during the consultation, before any demo starts. We publish price ranges instead of instant online quotes, because a real project deserves a real estimate.
Do you do electrical, plumbing, and HVAC?
We bring in licensed trade partners for those when the job calls for it. They all work under one project owner who stays responsible for the whole job.
What makes King Tides different from a single-trade company?
Each trade is handled by a specialist who does only that work. But one contractor stands behind the whole project. You get expert work and one person to hold responsible.

Bring us the whole house.

Tell us what you're planning. You'll get one consultation and one contractor who stands behind the work. We'll point your project to the right crew.
